Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage Plans are optional health care plans written through Medicare approved carriers. Plans that are offered are Health Maintenance Organization Plans (HMO), Preferred Provider Organization Plans (PPO), Private Fee for Service Plans (PFFS), and Special Needs Plans (SNP), amongst other less common plans. Beneficiaries must have both Medicare Part A and Part B and live in the service area to be eligible. Specific enrollment periods apply. Prescription Drug coverage can be included. Most plans have networks, and restriction or higher out-of-pocket costs may apply when accessing out-of-network providers. Plans are only guaranteed for one year at a time, beneficiaries may need to shop for a new plan annually.

Medicare Supplement Plans (MediGap)

Medicare Supplement Plans are optional plans offered through private carriers that are designed to cover the co-payments, deductibles and co-insurance that Original Medicare does not cover. Benefits will vary depending on which plan is purchased. Supplements do not cover prescription drugs. Ten plans are available, A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, and N. Benefits can be accessed through any provider that accepts Medicare. Plans are guaranteed renewable as long as the premiums are paid on-time.

Individual Life Insurance

Term Life Insurance - Time specific coverage and low premiums. These plans have no cash value.

Universal Life Insurance - Flexible policy with a tax free death benefit and tax deferred account value.

Whole Life Insurance - These policies build up cash value over time, which can be accessed by the insured at any time.
