Elevance Suspends 8 Additional Plans

As of 02/01/25 Elevance has suspended the electronic enrollment abilities of eight additional plans, which impacts three states (VA, CA & WI) in 104 counties:

“Thank you for the continued support of our Medicare Advantage plans. We are extremely pleased with the growth we have seen. To continue to balance our stability and growth, we have made the decision to remove eight HMO-POS plans from our online broker quoting and enrollment platforms beginning February 1, 2025. Rest assured, commissions and admin fees will continue to be paid on new sales and renewals for these plans. The three attached PDFs are the emails that were sent to the impacted Agents.”

What this means for you and your downline Agents:

• Commissions will continue to be paid on new sales and renewals for this plan.
• Beginning on 2/1/2025, the impacted plan will be removed from online broker quoting and enrollment platforms, and materials will not be in CustomPoint
• You may continue to use enrollment kits you currently have
• The impacted plan will remain on our website and on Medicare.gov
• The Summary of Benefits and application is available at shop.anthem.com/Medicare. Materials can be downloaded and printed
• Paper applications may be submitted via mail or fax (see instructions on the application)
