5 Helpful Tips for a Successful AEP
Thinking forward to the AEP rush, we want to share some helpful tips to get you up and running smoothly this fall.
1. Make sure your passwords are up to date and you have access to all your resources. There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to complete a quote or application because you’re locked out of your portal during the busiest time of the year!
2. Take time to understand your tools and systems. If something isn’t working properly or you need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask for help.
3. Stay up to date with your carrier specific trainings. Updated training should be released soon for the upcoming year, so be sure to complete these as they become available. This will help you become efficient with any system updates as well as product knowledge.
4. Now is a great time to send courtesy emails and cards to your current clients to thank them for their business. These are a great way to remind them you’re still around to help them with their future insurance needs. Be sure to include some extra business cards that they can share with friends and family.
5. If possible, try to schedule your meetings, doctor’s appointments, personal time, and any looming projects before the start of AEP. This way you’ll be fully focused and ready to rock once those calls start pouring in! Let’s get prepared to have a super successful AEP!
