Bernie Buonanno Joins ABS as VP of Distribution Development

Please join me in welcoming Bernie Buonanno to AMAC Broker Services as our new Vice President of Distribution Development.

Bernie brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the health, financial services, and membership based industries. His background includes building national distribution networks, modernizing member experience models, and leading large scale growth initiatives for organizations serving seniors and retirees. He has worked extensively with licensed agent teams, financial professionals, and multi channel service operations — experience that aligns directly with AMAC’s next phase of expansion.

In his role, Bernie will work closely with the AMAC Broker Services team to strengthen and grow the ABS national broker network, with a particular focus on agent engagement, activation, and scalable distribution development.

Bernie is based in South Carolina, where he lives with his wife, Lisa. They have three adult children: Michael and Ashley, who both work in the film and motion picture industry, and Luca, who will be graduating from Clemson next month.
